Extinguisher RatingsThe suitability of fire extinguishers dealing with the different classes of fire is indicated by a letter and a pictogram marked on the fire extinguisher. The A & B designations marked on different types of fire extinguishers are always accompanied by a figure indicating the fire rating of the fire extinguisher based on the size of fire that can be extinguished. In the table there are fire extinguisher types and fire extinguisher ratings relating to the classes of fire. |
